Green Chutney

If I had to choose 1 sauce to eat for the rest of my life, it would be this green chutney.

It’s fresh and zesty (with a little kick) and is a staple in every Indian home— perfect on sandwiches, bowls, eggs, or as a dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch cilantro

  • 1 cup mint

  • 1/4 yellow onion

  • 3/4 tsp ground cumin

  • 1/2 green chili (adjust to spice preference)

  • 2 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp minced ginger

  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Wash herbs

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

Store in an airtight container for about a week or freeze in ice cubes and thaw as needed!
